What is informed election?
|
Throughout speaking with my classmates and the various people I go to school with, I developed a keen awareness for the lack of voter education among my age group. As many of these students are on the cusp of turning 18, this is particularly concerning to me, especially ahead of a major election. After carefully considering the impact this has on both my community and the country at large, I decided to model my senior project after this issue. My goal is to empower voters, especially those in my age group, to make educated, factually-based decisions that support their viewpoints. Thus, this idea was born.

Informed Election aims to enable every voter in the United States to cast their vote with information, conviction, and assurance that the information they are using is both sufficient and accurate. The website provides key services to voters to better make this happen. This includes a belief matching quiz, information about candidates, and information for voters to assist their registration in each state. If you have any questions or suggestions for how to improve this platform, please don't hesitate to email me at [email protected]. After exploring Informed Election, please provide your feedback.
